Here's the scoop on the current and upcoming Season 2 Events for TheSandbox
- Game Jam – Jan. 5-15th
- MegaCity Land Sale – Jan 13th

Game Jam Jan.5-15th
Starting Jan. 5th through the 15th, TheSandbox is hosting an event for its Creator side of participants with 50,000 $SAND in total prizes.
- 1st place will get 20,000 $SAND
- 2nd place will get 15,000 $SAND
- 3rd place will get 8,000 $SAND
- 4th – 10th place will get 1,000 $SAND
Anyone can join, but having core knowledge of game creation and voxel editing will come into play. If you are up to the task, you will need these two things to become a creator for TheSandbox.

MegaCity Land Sale Jan. 13th
TheSandbox is hosting a new Land sale for MEGACITY on Jan.13th. This is your chance to own a piece of the Metaverse in TheSandbox MEGACITY District. The land here is not cheap, so bring your Whale Wallet if you plan on participating.
There will be limited amount of Land Plots available.

Mauer NFT Collection Jan. 18th
Several well-known artists team up with Forza Ikonia’s Mauer and TheSandbox in a project to bring masterful art NFT pieces into the Metaverse. The next NFT drop is on Jan.18th at 23:59 CET.
There will be a total of three more NFT drops after this one, ending with the final drop in April 2022. You can participate in the pre-sale on Jan.18th if you hold the previous drops. If not, you’ll have to wait until Jan.19th to buy what’s left.

TheSandbox Bootcamp Jan.8th
If you’re reading this after Jan.8th, unfortunately, you can no longer sign up for this month’s TheSandbox Bootcamp. Don’t worry; there will be more boot camps shortly. In the meantime, practice your craft and learn all about creating NFT’s and game experiences in the Metaverse.

A | No. The mobile game for Android and iOS is a game by Pixowl Inc. and goes by the same name, The Sandbox. The Animoca Brands version of the game is on PC only at this time.

A | It is a series of events during the Alpha stage of creation for the game TheSandbox.
Q | Can I participate in TheSandbox Alpha Season 2?
A | Yes, there are several ways to participate. Right now, you can earn a lot of SAND and position yourself well as a creator for TheSandbox game.
Q | Can I play TheSandbox game right now?
A | Yes and no. The game is currently in the Alpha stage, which means it is in its first stage of creation and is not ready for public release.
Q | How can I play TheSandbox now?
A | To participate in these events, you must hold an Alpha Pass. There is currently not an official Alpha pass for season 2. It is rumored that those who hold an Alpha Season 1 pass will also be able to participate in Season 2 events, but this has not been confirmed.
