If you are a landowner in The Sandbox, you get a chance to win an Alpha Pass.
What is an Alpha Pass and why is it valuable? An Alpha Pass will get you a chance to win up to 1000 in $SAND.

Beginning 11-29-2021, The Sandbox will have an open multi-week event in which players who possess an ALPHA PASS NFT will have the opportunity to explore The Sandbox Metaverse 18 experiences of which give you the OPPORTUNITY to Play and Earn up to 1000 $SAND and THREE EXCLUSIVE NFT’s.

The Alpha Raffle is for LAND Owners only
If you are a LAND Owner in The Sandbox, you must register for this event.
The registration window closes on 11-28-2021 at 13:00 UTC
If you are one of the 1000 LUCKY WINNERS of this RAFFLE (Japanese Residents Excluded) then you will see this upon login of your The Sandbox Account.
According to the Medium Article, The Sandbox Teams says:
Don’t worry if you accidentally close the window, though. You will still be able to claim your Alpha Pass by clicking the button below your Avatar on the Alpha page.
Next, you MUST CLAIM YOUR NFT PASS THROUH METAMASK (or another compatible wallet).
ETH GAS WARNING! You will need some Ether to pay for gas for this transaction!

Once the Alpha opens, anyone with a Sandbox account will be able to participate in our daily social contests to win an Alpha Pass. More than 750 Alpha Passes will be given away every week for three weeks.

Purchase an Alpha Pass on OpenSea:
Some Alpha Pass owners may decide to sell the NFT on OpenSea. You can verify if that’s the case by heading over to OpenSea between November 29 and December 19th. The Sandbox team won’t be selling any Alpha Pass on OpenSea. You can purchase one there only if an Alpha Pass owner is willing to sell it.
Important notice: Do not purchase an Alpha Pass on OpenSea after December 20 as the Alpha Season will then be closed and you will not be able to claim the Alpha Rewards of the Pass anymore.
DIDN'T GET A PASS? - THAT'S OKAY! According to the Medium post:
"Players without an Alpha Pass will have access to three Alpha experiences, as well as the Alpha Hub — a central experience showcasing a range of experiences, locations, and quests — not to mention the chance to connect with other players from our amazing community."
Everyone who signs up for an account and joins in on this event will be able to still participate and enjoy The Sandbox.
Players without an Alpha NFT Pass will have the opportunity to explore The Sandbox Hub and THREE EXPERIENCES created by The Sandbox Creators.
