What is SolaJump?
A Closer Look
I’ve recently stumbled upon a game called SolaJump, and I had to ask myself, what is Solajump? Firstly, the game claims to be “the simplest play-to-win on the blockchain”. So now, let us jump in and take a look at just how simple it is.

What is Solajump?
What is SolaJump? It is an endless arcade-style game that has you jumping ever upwards on platforms while trying to avoid enemies and falling. That pretty much sums up the gameplay perfectly! But we’re not done yet. Each character is a unique “solajumper” NFT that is a ticket to enter a tournament.
I did reach out to the developers for comments on their upcoming game launch, they did respond, saying, “We plan to reveal the Team on December 12th.” I do plan on participating in the first tournament, and I will report back to you on how it goes. Speaking of tournaments, SolaJump is hosting its very first tournament in less than a week from now.
To kick things off, SolaJump will be hosting a competition to see who can get the highest without dying. The grand prize will be 150 $SOL, second place wins 100 $SOL, and third gets 50 $SOL. You can still win a prize, however, even if you didn’t make the top three! If you place in the top 10 you can get up to 20 $SOL, and top 50 gets 4 $SOL, which at the current rate around $200 USD per 1 $SOL, that’s still around $800USD. Even further, if you are in the top 500 you get 2 $SOL, and finally, if you are in the top 1,000 spots, you get 1 $SOL. It costs 1.2 $SOL to MINT your NFT Jumper, so getting top 1000 in at least one of the twelve monthly tournaments this year will get my initial investment back.
The aforementioned Genesis Tournament will be held on December 12th, and it will last for 48 hours after the final minting of the 10,000 NFT Solajumpers. If you missed the first tournament, don’t worry. After the Genesis Tournament, players will have more opportunities to earn more $SOL with monthly championships using their NFT jumpers. Plans include releasing a PvP mode and private rooms, as well as introducing JumpCoin, an in-game currency that players can use for betting.
By the end of 2022, I will have played in 12 tournaments in Solajump. I will hopefully be reporting back that I have at least made back my initial investment of 1.2 $SOL.

Meet the Team at Nerd 148 Studios
Not surprisingly, Nerd 148 Studios went with Solana for their games. Solana is a blockchain that focuses on decentralization while also maintaining high-speed transactions. If you want to invest in $SOL, you can purchase some with Binance, Coinbase, FTX, and more. You will need at least 1.2 $SOL to be able to mint your first Solajumper NFT. Remember, once you have minted your NFT you will be able to participate in all tournaments for the year 2022, including PVP tournaments where you can wager $JumpCoin to earn even more.
I loved Doodle Jump as a kid, so this game is a bit nostalgic for me. I predict that Solajump is going to be a big hit, and I will be following up with my own experience as soon as I can. If you want to join me on this adventure, go to Solajump to sign up now. There are only a total of 10,000 NFT Solajumpers available, so you have to hurry!
